ABOUT

Can I be honest with you?

You didn’t just come to this page to see how many years of experience I have, what my degree is, or what my approach to counseling and/or coaching is.

You came to see if I am someone that you could trust. Someone who is worthy of impacting your family. Someone that can actually make a difference and deliver you the results you are looking for (those results that may seem impossible).

Yes, the fact that I have my Master’s of Science in Education in Counseling with a dual specialization of community and school counseling matters… the fact that I have over 10 years of experience matters… the fact that I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and expert in child behavior matters…

But NONE of it matters if I am not someone that you can trust.

I wish I could communicate how much my clients mean to me.

How much I think about them and work hard to make sure they are thriving. I started Fly on the Wall Counseling because when I worked for someone else, I was not able to treat my clients the way I wanted with the wrap-around care they deserved.

It fills my heart to get mid-week updates from my clients to hear how well they are doing or answer their questions. It is a joy for me to start every single session because I know that we are going to talk about the latest improvement they’ve seen in their home and build upon those successes.

You have been through enough in your struggles with your child and the last thing you need is to start working with someone, invest time and financial resources, all for it to be a waste and for things to stay the same.

It is my goal to equip you, so that, when our time of working together is done, you are able to thrive and be confident that you can handle whatever your child throws your way.

So if you are wondering if working with me is worth it, let’s take the time to figure that out.

We’ll chat through your present concerns, and you can determine if I am truly able to help you. I am confident that I can deliver what your heart desires… but what really matters is if you are confident that I can.

When I’m not a “Fly on the Wall”…

I lead a pretty simple life! Working from home means I enjoy the simple moments of getting out and about. I enjoy cooking, so grocery shopping is something I look forward to; especially the produce and ice cream sections!

While I love being active, I’m learning to slow down and enjoy long walks to just think and pray and gain clarity.

My husband and I have been married since 2010. We are big time foodies and almost never eat/cook “American” food. Some of our favorite cuisines are Thai, Indian, and Japanese. I’m also passionate about natural ways to enhance our well-being, so we have a large garden and mini orchard in our backyard.

My husband has Asperger’s and, thankfully, his current interest is in providing our home with sustainable food sources! I’m an introvert… but you’d never know it, because I love connecting with others.

Another great way to get to know me is through my social media platforms!

Do you want to get a better feel for my style, personality, and level of expertise? The quickest way to do that (besides scheduling a consult!) is to check out my Facebook page and/or group and my YouTube channel (PS… I’ve been told this is a great way to introduce me to husbands!)
